Ayodhya: Class 10 Student Allegedly Gangraped, Fatally Pushed Off School Terrace, 3 Booked

In a horrifying incident in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, a 15-year-old student of class 10 lost her life after being pushed off the terrace of her school. The police have reported that she was allegedly gang-raped by the school’s manager and sports teacher. The tragic incident occurred on Friday within the premises of the private school. Initially, the school management claimed that the girl died from a fall on a swing, but CCTV footage revealed the truth of her fall from the school building’s terrace.

Police Take Action: Case Registered Against School Manager, Principal, and Sports Teacher

Authorities have taken swift action in response to the incident. A case has been registered against the school manager, principal, and sports teacher under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. The charges include gangrape (376D), murder (302), causing disappearance of evidence of offense or giving false information to screen offender (201), criminal conspiracy (120B), and offenses under the POCSO Act.

Postmortem Conducted and Last Rites Performed

The victim’s body underwent a postmortem examination on Saturday afternoon. Following the procedure, the girl was cremated in the presence of the police. The girl’s father performed the last rites, mourning the tragic loss of his daughter.

Allegations and Investigation: Misleading Information and Tampering with Evidence

According to the victim’s father, despite the school being closed for summer vacation, his daughter was summoned by the principal. He alleges that the school manager, Brijesh Yadav, and sports teacher, Abhishek Kannaujia, gang-raped her. To conceal their heinous crime, they allegedly threw her off the school’s terrace. In the preliminary investigation, the police discovered that the school administration had attempted to mislead them regarding the incident and had tampered with evidence, including cleaning the bloodstains where the student had fallen.

Ongoing Investigation and Public Outcry

Superintendent of Police (City) Madhuban Singh confirmed that a case has been registered based on the family’s complaint. The police are diligently investigating the matter. The postmortem report, however, is still pending, and its findings regarding the rape allegation are awaited. Meanwhile, on social media, numerous individuals are demanding the immediate arrest of the accused and strict action against them.
